FAQ

What Will I Receive? You will receive a PDF file which is the complete book. You can read it on any computer or electronic device that can read PDFs, using most PDF reader software (such as the free Adobe Reader).

How Long Will it Take Until I Receive the Book? You should receive the PDF via email within 24 hours of your order. The book is customized for you, so it takes a little time to process.

How Do I Access Links to Outside Sources? All you need to do is click on the link on a device connected to the Internet, and it should open the link in a web browser. Please note that case links, and links to some other resources, are linked to Westlaw and thus will be readable only to Westlaw subscribers. Future editions will likely have links to other publicly available sources of these materials.

Can I Contact the Author With Suggestions, Comments and/or Corrections? Yes, please! We want to provide the best possible product for our customers, and feedback from our readers is of great help in improving future editions. Please use the Contact feature to send along messages.

I See the Book is Written by an Attorney. Is it Providing Legal Advice I can Rely Upon? The book contains this disclaimer: “This publication is designed to provide accurate and authoritative information in regard to the subject matter covered. It is sold with the understanding that neither the publisher nor the author is engaged in rendering legal, accounting or other professional service. If legal advice or other expert assistance is required, the services of a competent professional person should be sought – From a Declaration of Principles jointly adopted by a Committee of the American Bar Association and a Committee of Publishers and Associations.”

Can I Make Copies of the Book and Give Them to Other People? No, this is a copyright infraction and is unfair to the publisher and author. Feel free to save it on all the multiple devices that you access.

Is There a Paper Version of the Book? Not now, but maybe in the future. A paper version would not have clickable links, would not be searchable, and would not be updated immediately for buyers, so we are unsure of its demand or utility.
